Infrastructure
Our infrastructure services comprise four specific areas:
Sewer Installation
From trench construction through pipe laying on embedded material, haunching and backfill the DSC team use their skill and experience to ensure a “fault free” result.
Utilities Services Installation
Multi Services Utilities installation, as a norm gas/electric/water/telecoms have, post deregulation, been carried out in a timely and cost effective manner through multi utility connection in one operation. Trenching, and attendant works are kept to a minimum by using our established works processes.
Highway Construction
The DSC approach uses many of the existing skill of the workforce, starting with excavations and site preparation, through drainage, kerbing and slabbing, through to paving and tar surfacing. The surfacing process can be undertaken either mechanically or by hand dependant on the material specified. DSC carry out all work to statutory, industry and local authority requirements.
Section 278 Works
With Section 278 of the Highways Act being a legally binding agreement with the local Highway Authority, DSC have to carry out these works to the statutory bodies` satisfaction. Therefore DSC need to use all their knowledge, skill, and experience to perform to the required standard, and there are many examples of this activity.
