DSC are committed to minimising waste to its lowest practical level, and recovering as much raw material as possible for re-use, or re-sale, to the benefit of the project, the client, and perhaps more importantly, the environment.

 

Once demolitions are complete, residue can be sorted and certified into various categories, from Type 1 through to 6F3, coupled with the obtainment of relevant environmental permits including exemptions and deployment approvals. This is achieved through the use of various on-site crushing and screening techniques (as per WRAP Protocol) and is beneficial as it minimises the requirement to transport the material off-site. This has a positive environmental impact on the site and the surrounding area through substantially reduced carbon emissions.
