Asbestos removal is a regulated operation under the HSE, and can only be performed by trained and competent operators, supervised by a suitably qualified person. As a specialist contractor, DSC Building will organise and administer the process, and where independent asbestos surveys are required, these will be arranged as part of the service.

It is vital that all buildings are surveyed for asbestos prior to any alteration, renovation or demolition, DSC provide sound advice for the safe removal and disposal of all asbestos and hazardous material before and works begin.

As a note of caution, Asbestos has been used in construction since the 1950s and has been used as both an insulator and a fire resistor, and was often mixed with other materials. Therefore, to comply with CDM 2011, calling in DSC will eliminate your risk and provide peace of mind.
